Handbuilt ceramics for home and garden.

Bryony's work is inspired by the organic world, in particular by full rounded forms and their surface patterns. Each item is individually hand-built, using coils or slabs, which means that each piece is an individual with subtle variations in the finished form.

Bryony then applies oxides and/or glazes which enhance the textural nature of the surface. Other pieces are burnished and then smoke-fired in sawdust, which leads to random smoky patterns which give a look almost of wood. Some of her pieces are functional, others purely for enjoyment.

Many are also suitable for adding a point of interest to your garden or patio and can stay out all year round.
