Naive Textile Art are a mother and daughter team who create handmade pieces in wool, fabric and felt from their studio in East Kent.

Their inspiration is drawn from their shared memories, nature and simple pleasures. They want their work to delight and surprise, to evoke moments of celebration, giving and happiness. Together they knit, stitch and felt found and natural materials.

They enjoy combining different textures and evolving their ideas through the process of making. The use of soft, warm and comforting materials to represent familiar objects allows them to create a feeling of closeness and cosiness. They hope to encourage people to explore the tactile and playful elements of their work by marrying decoration with function.

Their aim is to create a decorative alternative to the jewellery box, where the jewellery enhances and becomes part of the creation. Their Naive Textile Art collection of designer made Jewellery Boxes and Jewellery Pincushions keeps your jewellery safe.

Simply pin through the wings on your stud earrings. Hook your drop earrings through the fabric. Tuck your rings into the folds of material. Drape your necklaces from the hat pins or felted decoration.
