The Herdy Company are based in the Lake District and design and produce high quality products in an ethical way.

 

The trademark herdy brand is based on the cute and lovable Herdwick sheep breed, and supports the sustainability of the breed by using Herdwick wool in their range of home furnishings with the processing, spinning and weaving of their wool throws done in West Yorkshire and the weaving of their new rugs done in Cumbria.

 

Herdwicks are a hardy breed which thrive against the odds on the fells of Cumbria, and help to create and maintain the distinctive and stunning landscape. The Herdy Fund will benefit our upland areas in a number of ways, from rural community support through to making good use of the wool and caring for the landscape we all know and love .
