Lindsay Marsden set up The Black Rabbit in June 2006 and makes her unique products from her studio in Margate.

Lindsay studied at Winchester School of Art before going on to do an MA in knitwear at the Royal College of Art. She worked for design companies including Caramel baby and child, Michiko Koshino, Trend Union and Rubekson Yamanaka before branching out on her own with The Black Rabbit.

The Black Rabbit creates beautiful and unusual handmade knitted gifts, quirky animals and fashion accessories. Lindsay designs and hand-makes all her unique products in-house in her Margate studio.

The Black Rabbit's orginal ranges include knitted egg and tea cosies, brightly coloured bird decorations and lavender filled animals.

Lindsay has recently added a range of acrylic jewellery with a tea-party theme. Each of these unique acrylic jewellery items comes boxed, with a snug lambswool insert.
